DAYS / 6 NIGHTS
DAY 1: Plane
boarding at Santiago Airport in order to
fly to Puerto Montt. Arrival at Puerto
Montt Airport and transfer to take a 40-minute
flight to Chaitén. Reception in Chaitén
with welcome drink and lunch.Transfer
to Termas El Amarillo, where we will spend
the afternoon relaxing in rustic hot springs.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lago Yelcho.
DAY
2: Trip
to Las Juntas, with visit
to Ventisquero Yelcho Chico (hanging glacier),
with an optional walk to the edge of the glacier
and/or to mineral spring waters. Drive over Cuesta
El Moraga and along
the Frío and Palena Rivers. Arrival
at Las Juntas, lunch
and afternoon relax at Hotel Espacio y Tiempo,
with the possibility to go out for a walk in the
surrounding areas. Dinner and overnight stay at
the hotel.
DAY
3: River
tour, descending Rio Palena in a motorboat
to reach natural hot springs by the river, box-lunch.
Return to Las Juntas up the same river,
in the midst of the beautiful Patagonian Cold
Jungle. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel
Espacio y Tiempo.
DAY
4: Trip
along the beautiful Figueroa River canyon
on the way to Lago Verde, town on the border
with Argentina. Box lunch on the lakeshore, return
trip to spend the afternoon at El Ensueño
tourist farm near Lago Negro, with horseback
riding or walking in the surrounding countryside.
Barbecued lamb <<al palo>>
for dinner, return trip to Las Juntas for
overnight stay at Hotel Espacio y Tiempo.
DAY
5: Visit
to Puerto Puyuhuapi and its traditional
and rustic Rug Factory, lunch, trip across
the fiord to the Termas de Puyuhuapi, afternoon
in the hot spring outdoor or indoor pools and
SPA. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Termas
de Puyuhuapi.
DAY
6: Morning
of hot springs and relaxation, lunch, trip across
the fiord to the Queulat Ventisquero
Colgante, visit and 30 minute walk. Return
trip to Las Juntas, dinner and overnight
stay at Hotel Espacio y Tiempo.
DAY
7: 2
y ½ hour trip to Chaitén, to board on flight
to Puerto Montt, reception and transfer
to flight to Santiago. End of services.
